TURN YOUR GET-TOGETHER INTO A FUNDRAISER

Fundraising doesn't always have to mean organising a huge event. Sometimes it simply starts with inviting people together over a cup of coffee.

Recently, one of our wonderful supporters, Pam, hosted a coffee morning in her beautiful new kitchen extension. What began as a chance to bring together family and friends over coffee and cake raised an incredible £500 for Big Purple Pants.

That's a fantastic amount to raise and a wonderful example of what can be achieved when people come together for a good cause. Every pound raised helps us continue supporting people living with secondary breast cancer, while also raising awareness of the work we do.

It reminded us that fundraising doesn't have to be complicated. In fact, some of the most successful events are often the simplest.

You could organise a coffee morning, afternoon tea or cake sale. Host a quiz night, games evening or raffle. Invite friends round for a homemade dinner or fine dining evening. Arrange a sponsored walk, a garden gathering or even a bring-and-share lunch. Whatever suits you and your community, every event helps raise awareness and vital funds to support people living with secondary breast cancer.

Fundraising is also about creating connections. It's about bringing people together, starting conversations and helping others learn more about the work we do. Every event, no matter how big or small, helps us reach more people and continue supporting our members.
